Oil Region Enterprise Zone


The Oil Region Enterprise Zone is a State-approved zone, existing since 1995, that makes low-interest loans available to industrial entities located within the designated area. The Oil Region Enterprise Zone is administered by the City of Franklin and is comprised of portions of seven municipalities of central Venango County. If your manufacturing facility is situated within (or you are looking to locate within) one of the following municipalities, (City of Franklin, City of Oil City, Sugarcreek Borough, Rouseville Borough, Cranberry Township, Sandycreek Township, or Cornplanter Township), check the Enterprise Zone Map below, to see if your company could take advantage of this program.
