Freedom From Smoking - FREE Smoking cessation classes run by the American Lung Association; register at the front desk or email sconn@grovecityymca.org; no Y membership necessary; classes held at the Franklin Y for 8 weeks; eight people are needed to run this class.

Mission Slimpossible - YMCA weight loss assistance and accountability program; new 8 - week session begins Tuesday, January 15 at 6:00PM; registration due by January 12; $35 for members and $60 for non-members.

Adult Swim Clinic - 18 years and older. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 6- 7AM; $20 per month for members and $40 per month for nonmembers.

Triathlon Swim Clinic - Saturday, January 12 from noon - 4:00PM with USA Triathlon Certified coaches Drew and Caitlin Sapp. $50 for members and nonmembers.

Teen Fitness Orientation Class - Free for Youth members ages 12 and 13; two orientations are needed in order to work out independently in the Fitness Center; registration open at teen's convenience.

Child Watch - 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, 5-8 p.m. Monday to Thursday; for children from 3 months to 7 years old; free for members, $2 per hour per child for nonmembers while they use the Y facility.

YMCA Group Exercise classes are monthly and free with your membership. Non-members pay $5.00 per class or $53.00 a month which includes all Group Exercise classes.

YMCA Youth Winter Basketball League - Registration is open until January 16 for grades 1 to 4; season runs from January 21 to February 18; $25 for family member; $35 for youth member and $45 for nonmember; multi-child discounts available; coaches needed.

Indoor Soccer League - Registration is open until January 19 for ages 3-12; season runs from January 26 to March 9. Pre- K division: for ages 3-4; Family member is $24, Youth member is $30 and nonmember is $40; all other divisions for ages 5-12, family member is $30, youth member is $40 and nonmember is $60.

Diabetes Prevention Program - Led by a trained lifestyle coach; Group support and motivation; 25 educational sessions held over the course of the year.

Personal Training: Individual assessments used to design customized fitness workouts with a certified personal trainer. AM or PM hours available to work around your schedule. One-hour sessions or packages are available.

Saturday mornings: RIPPED is from 9:30-10:30 on the first and third Saturday and POUND Fit is from 9:30 - 10:30 on the second and fourth Saturday. Free with your membership. $5.00 for nonmembers.

Pilates/Yoga mat class: NEW CLASS Mondays at 9:40am. Free with your membership; $5.00 for nonmembers. A combination of Pilates and yoga moves with a little Tai Chi included.
