A musical comedy that revolves
around our narrator and his love for the (fictional) 1928
hit The Drowsy Chaperone. As he plays the record, the
characters come to life on stage: the Broadway starlet
engaged to the wealthy bachelor, her scheming producer & his
ditzy blonde girl-friend, her drowsy (aka tipsy) chaperone,
the Italian lover, gangsters posing as pastry chefs, the
forgetful hostess and her suffering butler all come together
to pull off an on-again-off-again wedding in this
uproarious new sensation! 2006 Tony Award winner for Best
